Plans / Process

CADD Studio  provides complete EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS for Public and Private Institutions.  These EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS consist of floor plans with a "You are Here" and a simple directive on how to safely evacuate the building and once outside, where to assemble.

The EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS also indicates Fire Extinguisher and Alarm Pull-Station Locations. We can also indicate the locations of stretchers, first aid boxes, first responder kits, eye-wash stations, and severe weather shelters.

The process starts by sending us a copy, either paper or in electronic form, of your existing floor plans. We will estimate the cost to convert them to electronic format and estimate the number of EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS  required.

Once we agree on that we will prepare a floor plan of each area and send to you for your use in marking the locations of emergency equipment and editing the floor plan. When we receive the mark-ups from your office we will prepare EMERGENCY EVACUATION Blanks of each area indicating the primary and secondary routes and send to you for final approval.  We may have to change a route or move a sign before we print and frame the final EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN.  So it does require some leg work on your end to ensure the floor plan is correct and we have included the correct locations of emergency equipment.

After you have issued a purchase order to CADD STUDIO for the quoted amount, we will provide you a set of proofs. These proofs will show you the detail that will be on the framed finished EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS. After you have received the proofs and notified us that they are correct, we will finish your EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS and ship them to you within two weeks.

The EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS are location specific and need to be placed where we decide, not down the hall or on the opposite side of the room, but exactly where we specify.  This prevents someone from having to imagine themselves sideways or upside down to find their way out of the building.

These EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS are easily updated as your facility changes.  You simply mark the changes on the Evacuation Plan and return to our offices for corrections.

The EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS  are supplied in Red Metal Frames with Plexiglass fronts and are delivered framed and ready to hang.  We can include secure hangers to make it difficult to remove theEMERGENCY EVACUATION PLANS from the wall without special tools.
